8-Year-Old Accidentally Struck by Pizza Delivery Driver

KCTV5 reports that a neighborhood party was interrupted when an eight year-old girl was accidentally struck by a pizza delivery vehicle.  The child was in serious condition at last report.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and child affected by this accident.  Accidents such as this are extremely stressful and emotional times for parents, children, and extended family members as they seek the best possible care for their child.  Unfortunately, such accidents can result in significant injuries that require long-term care.
